RBF1200Li Filler - First for Europe
In December 2008 GEA Avapac secured an order to produce their 19th Limited Intervention filling system (LI) - to be supplied to the new Lakeland Dairies plant in Bailieboro - Ireland.
The line was successfully commissioned in 2010 and marks a milestone for GEA Avapac as the launch of Li filling in Europe. This success was closely followed by a further order for another European customer and we are hopeful of more orders in Europe throughout 2011.
Since the release of the Li filling system in 2004 we have manufactured 20 limited intervention packing systems and we have now successfully launched the system in USA and now Europe.
